Most suitable candidates will currently be selling photonics or optoelectronics solutions.  You will already possess strong experience of the photonics industry, with an aptitude for specifying complex technical solutions. You must have a proven track record of developing project sales with a keen eye for business development opportunities.

Our client is one of the leading providers of photonic components & systems. They have established relationships with their customers and have global revenues more than £100 Million. They are looking for a proven individual from within the photonics industry to help further develop their revenues in the aerospace & defence sectors.

​

Role:

You will be able to demonstrate experience in the following activities:

• Technical sales ability & photonics industry knowledge 
• A good understanding of lasers, other photonic components & systems 
• Demonstrate that you can gain new project sales using business development techniques (developing low spending accounts)
• Account management skills are also needed for this role
• Excellent customer service and solution orientated mindset
• Profitable revenue growth and strong negotiation skills
• Design-in sales experience is desired
• Ability to plan and manage your own workload

 

This organisation would also be open to looking at sales engineers currently selling different components/technologies into the main aerospace & defence customers.
