Overview:

An exciting opportunity is now available within a leading provider of IoT/embedded solutions, this established organisation operates in the UK and has some differentiating niche solutions to complement its already comprehensive electronics product portfolio. This business development manager role is all encompassing with emphasis on developing sales revenues of IoT solutions and to increase their market share within the UK.

Products: IoT hardware (sensors, cellular etc), software, consultancy services, IoT system design etc.

Position:

As a business development manager your main responsibility is to ensure sales budgets (£2.5 million+) and commercial objectives are achieved.

  •       Primarily, this role is to develop new sales revenues via technical specification, it is expected that this will be accomplished using a strategic business development approach.
  •       You will also be responsible for developing and maintaining strong customer and prospect relationships within the utilities, medical and manufacturing sectors etc.
  •       You will be the IoT product specialist and work closely with our sales team and senior management individuals; therefore, it is expected that you will possess strong technical knowledge and a strategic mindset.
  •       You should be highly entrepreneurial and want to build a business unit dedicated to IoT solutions.
  •       This is a hybrid role comprising, working from a home office, customer visits and MS teams meetings.
  •       Project order closing.
