Case Study - Managing Director Role

This Italian gearbox manufacturer was looking to replace its long serving managing director. Due to our relationship with the incumbent managing director, Hayward Resourcing was chosen by the European director to conduct an industry wide search campaign.

Hayward Resourcing utilised its strong understanding of the industrial gearbox industry for its initial candidate search, within 4 weeks we had provided a shortlist of 3 candidates from within the industry, with one specific individual targeted from a direct competitor.

This was a 3-interview process which included each shortlisted candidate completing an OPQ32 Management Competency Report.

The successful candidate came from a direct competitor and has been in the role for 3 years (this was recruitment was done in August 2021).
