This international organisation was wanting to recruit a UK based key account manager to look after project business in the defence sector. They looked to utilise a job board and linked-in for their initial candidate search, after four months they decided to engage a recruitment company. Hayward Resourcing was selected for the search campaign due to previously filling an automotive key account manager role for the client.
The position was now really time critical and causing internal workload stresses. We provided four high quality candidates with specific defence sector experience. The successful candidate had the right mix of strategic thinking, key account management skills and business development attributes, this was coupled with a materials engineering technical background.
The role was concluded successfully within 7 weeks. The candidate will start his new role in October.
