An exciting opportunity is now available within a leading manufacturer of connectors & interconnect solutions, this established organisation operates worldwide and has some differentiating niche solutions to complement its comprehensive product portfolio. The industry sectors that we target are industrial, medical, automotive, military & aerospace etc.

 

This sales manager role is to support and develop their UK & Nordic sales team.

 

Position:

 

As a sales manager your primary responsibility is to ensure that the sale target of £20 million+ is achieved.

  • This role is to manage and develop an established sales team, it is expected that this will be accomplished by offering motivation and support to all team members, whilst also spending time on joint visits at customer sites in the UK & Nordic region.
  • You will also be responsible for creating and implementing a business development strategy.
  • Despite this being a managerial role, you will still be working closely with engineers and technical decision makers; therefore, it is expected that you will possess a strong technical aptitude within the connectors/electronics industry, as well as being a good communicator.
  • A pro-active sales personality and a proven track record of developing sales teams is essential.
  • This is a fast-paced role where you will be expected to be a sales leader whilst also maintaining a strong emphasis on being customer facing and helping secure new design-in wins.
  • You need to be the most motivated individual in the room and have the gravitas to inspire confidence with your colleagues.
  • To be the first point of call to the sales team when they need advice and guidance.
