An industry leading business that provides bearings & associated technology solutions into the OEM & MRO distribution sectors is now looking for a technical sales engineer. This international organisation is well established and employs over 1000 people, they have an impeccable reputation for design in capabilities and customer care.

The Brief

• A new position has become available within the sales team to facilitate the growth of our bearings product range within a North East & Scotland sales territory (Sales target £2 million+).

• We typically sell via the design in process into the OEM sectors, therefore strategic sales and technical attributes are desired.

• We are looking for someone who can develop new sales opportunities through tenacious business development skills.

• The successful applicant will also be delivering some of the most cutting-edge bearing solutions in our industry to MRO distribution customers.

• As a technical sales engineer you would be expected to liaise with engineers and offer applications support to customers.

• This important role demands a committed and dynamic person with an in-depth knowledge of how to sell technical bearings solutions to our clients.

• It is imperative that you have a bearings/power transmission/engineering sales background, as well as a highly adaptable sales personality (account management 70% & business development 30%).
